Singapore websites hacking incidents in the past one month

It is no coincident, Singapore has faced an unprecedented waves of cyber attacks in last one month, some reported ones listed below:

• MOM site duplicated, Art Museum site breached

• Personal data from SAM website exposed – 4000 contacts leaked

• Singapore PM’s website hacked by Anonymous

• Websites of Singapore president, PM hacked

•  Hackers tried to bring down govt websites: IDA

• ST website hacked, Anonymous group claims responsibility

• Seletar Airport website hacked

• Twelve of 13 school websites hacked on Wednesday still down as of 9am Thursday

• Police are investigating threat to leak personal data of public officers by ‘Anonymous’ group

The Singapore websites had been hacked after the Governement vowed to crack down on activist group Anonymous, which is demanding greater Internet freedom in the city-state. So far one hacker by the name of James Raj had been caught.
